Our mission

Ozark Middle School helps every learner become curious, capable, and kind through challenging academics, creative exploration, and stewardship of our lake community.

What we value

Five core values shape how this community learns and treats one another.

Curiosity

Ask thoughtful questions and pursue meaningful answers.

Belonging

Build a school where every person is known, respected, and included.

Craft

Take pride in careful thinking, revision, and high-quality work.

Courage

Try difficult things, learn from mistakes, and speak with honesty.

Stewardship

Care for one another, the campus, and the lake environment.

Our history

Ozark began as a community idea about building a school around small learning teams and a love of the lake. From a single library commons in 1989 to today's design lab and outdoor classrooms, our timeline is full of small, hopeful chapters.
