Technology at Ozark

A reassuring look at how this school imagines using technology: a one-to-one device program, the Design Lab makerspace, and a strong culture of digital citizenship.

What technology looks like here

  • A one-to-one device program

Each student has a school device for creating, researching, and collaborating. Devices are tools for learning during the day and are set up to keep students focused on school-owned tools.

  • The Design Lab

The Design Lab is a hands-on makerspace where students sketch, build, code, and prototype. It pairs the one-to-one devices with real materials so ideas can move from screen to workbench and back again.

  • Digital citizenship

Students are guided to be thoughtful, kind, and safe online — to think before sharing, to credit others' work, and to treat the people behind every screen with respect. Digital citizenship is woven into Harbor Seminar and class projects.

Privacy by design

This site is built to be data-poor on purpose. There is no behavioral tracking, no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no profiling of students. Classroom technology is treated the same way: tools for learning, not for watching.

No behavioral data, usage profiles, or student records are collected anywhere on these pages.
