news imageOzark Middle School is proud to name Eli Reese Reed our Student of the Month for May. Chosen by his teachers, Eli stood out for the everyday habits that make a classroom better: showing up ready to learn, asking thoughtful questions, and being the first to help a classmate who is stuck.
Teachers describe Eli as curious and steady. He digs into a problem until it makes sense, and he is just as quick to celebrate a friend's success as his own. "Eli sets a tone," one of his teachers said. "When he gets excited about an idea, the whole table leans in. He makes the work feel worth doing."
Outside of class, Eli brings the same energy to clubs, the lunchroom, and the hallways, where he is known for a friendly hello and a willingness to include anyone who needs a seat. That mix of kindness and effort is exactly what the Student of the Month award is meant to recognize.
Congratulations, Eli — and thank you for the way you represent the very best of Ozark Middle School. We can't wait to see what you take on next.
