Ezra likes to make things with his hands, sanding a small shelf smooth or repairing a wobbly paddle until it feels just right. In the outdoor skills club he leads safe, careful kayak outings on the calm cove, checking everyone's life vest before they launch. Ezra studies how water moves and how wood bends, certain that understanding a material is half the craft. With the lake ecology club he helps build simple wooden nest boxes for shoreline birds. Easygoing and dependable, Ezra is the friend who quietly fixes the thing nobody else noticed was broken. Classmates say he explains tools without ever showing off, handing over the sandpaper so they can try the next stroke themselves and feel the satisfaction of a job done well.
