Harper lights up the moment the stage lights warm, turning even a small scene into something the whole room leans toward. In the drama guild Harper volunteers for the trickiest roles and helps quieter castmates find their courage during rehearsal. Between scenes Harper scribbles song lyrics in the margins of a script, humming melodies that later show up at harbor harmonies practice. Harper loves the backstage hush right before a curtain rises, when nerves turn into a kind of bright energy. Generous with praise and quick to laugh at a flubbed line, Harper keeps every rehearsal feeling welcoming. Friends say Harper remembers everyone's part, not just their own, and will happily run lines at lunch until a scene finally clicks into place and feels real.
