“Small projects, done together, make the school feel like home.”

Omar believes a good idea is only the beginning, and that the real work is bringing people along with you. On the student council he listens before he speaks, gathering opinions in the hallway before any vote. Omar helped organize a supply drive that filled the front office with donations, then made sure every helper got a thank-you note. With the service crew he repaints benches and tends garden beds, happiest when a quiet improvement makes someone's day a little easier. Calm and persuasive, Omar can settle a disagreement by reminding everyone of the goal they share. Classmates trust him with a problem because he treats it seriously and follows through. Teachers say Omar leads by example, rolling up his sleeves long before he ever asks anyone else to.
