Advanced Band

Description

Advanced Band is for eighth graders who have grown through earlier band years and are ready for more demanding repertoire. Players refine tone, technique, and musicianship while learning to shape phrases and perform with expression. The ensemble works on careful tuning, balance, and the discipline of preparing a full concert program. Students perform at several events across the year and serve as musical leaders for younger players.

What students learn

Signature project
