Environmental Field Studies is a semester elective that takes science outdoors in a lakeside setting. Students learn field methods for observing plants, animals, soil, and water, and explore how natural systems respond to change. By collecting and analyzing their own data, students practice thinking like environmental scientists.
Students conduct a season-long field study of a outdoor site and report on what they observed.
